Rosamond's Honorary Mayors
History
The Rosamond Honorary Mayors program has a long history in our community. It was started 42 years ago, in 1967. Most recently (June 2006) it was turned back over to the Chamber of Commerce. The previous change occurred in 2001 when the position was transferred to the Rosamond Town Council. Rosamond Chamber President Amy Landsgaard handed over the Mayor’s Key to Council President, George Stemwedel at the February 15, 2001 Town Council meeting.
